Yeah, this is pretty much my face all the time rn
Especially with all the anti-feminist girls and women I’ve been seeing lately.
Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you? Do you think you live in some magical bubble so if you deny rights to other women, your own will never be affected? Do you really think you’re enough of a pretty, pretty princess that you’ll find the perfect man to take care of you forevah, and never have to worry about silly little things like rape, birth control and equal pay? Do you think bad things only happen to “bad” girls, and since you’re perfect, that’ll never happen to you?
Really?
I only hope that you’re lucky enough to never have an experience to show you exactly how wrong you are. The fight for women’s rights is a fight for all women. Yes, including you.
*And for the record, it’s a fight for the rights of men and the non-cisgendered, too. Women get the worst of the business end of sexism, but it affects everyone, from a woman denied a job because her boss didn’t think she was pretty enough, to a boy who gets beaten up on the playground because he’s more fond of art than sports. Sexism is icky. Period. And we all have a responsibility to help make it go away.
