Myself, my friend Carly with Hannah and Ben on Hannahs last night.

Was a sad night. But Hannah has been a fantastic pauline and we will miss her, we will also miss Hannah and Ben together!

So glad you guys got to see her last night, and I’m glad I got to see the show myself a few months ago. So much fun!

Ah! Alas that Hannah is moving on from OMTG after today. But I’m so, SO glad I got to see her (along with Ben!) in it. 

Wonder what she’s got coming up next?

Kero and Fiver meet Ben Mansfield
…both dressed as Stanley Stubbers from One Man, Two Guv’nors. Fiver has the cricket bat, I have a bicycle horn. Fiver drew a picture of Ben as Stanley Stubbers (linked below), and gave it to him at London Film and Comic Con. It was awesome.

So, my totally wild speculation about Andrew taking over part of the OMTG run from the guy who’s currently playing Alan …

Well, add to that one more thing: Gemma might have to take some time off to go do GoT filming. (Technically, Asha/Yara and Theon aren’t in the next installment of the books, but stuff is still happening with them off-page in the story timeline, so they might bring them both in for character-continuity’s sake.) If that does happen, what if her role was taken over by Vicki (Ben’s fiancée)?

For those unfamiliar: In the OMTG plot, Rachel and Stanley (Gemma and Ben) are a couple, as are Pauline and Alan (Hannah and Daniel.) So if those two switches were made, the two real-life couples would be playing couples in the show. And how cool would that be? 

OK, so yes, it’s cheesy. But honestly, Andrew would be perfect for Alan—which is a very over-the-top, dorktastic role—and Vicki definitely has the right kind of vaguely androgynous look to pull off Rachel.

… I really should’ve seen the show one more time before I left London. ;) 

-Andrew might be going back to Vancouver for more New World filming?! Hot damn! Also the little hint that she’d want to go over for Abby if that happened made me squee. It’d have to happen in season 2, however (and let’s hope there IS a season 2!) since filming for season 1 is almost over, and she’s booked through January.

-Andrew’s seen OMTG 7 times? LOL forever. Bless him.

 -Love the idea of them doing stage or a rom-com together. Truthfully, I could see him joining the OMTG cast at some point. He’d be perfect for Alan, if Daniel Ings wasn’t able to continue for some reason. Of course, that’d make that show quite Primeval-alum heavy!  

-As we’ve been saying for ages: chances of a proper series 6 for the UK team are next to nil, because ITV doesn’t want to fund it, and the cast/crew are off doing other things. 

-S Club is not getting back together. At least not with Hannah’s involvement. (And good on her for being clear about that. She has a good career now. She doesn’t need to do the tacky money-grab of the nostalgia circuit.) 

-No wedding plans. Probably explains the missing engagement rings. Pure speculation, but I’m wondering if they decided to just put those away since they’re not actually altar-aimed for the near term. Will say: given their body language at Cmania, they are most definitely still together, though. (More speculation: wonder if she just wanted to establish her own post-Primeval career more before she did the wifey thing? No clue. None of my beeswax, I spose.) 

-One clarification from the TV Choice interview: Warner DOES have the rights to a movie version, and the script has been started (by the Fringe team of Jeff Pinkner and Akiva Goldsman) but it hasn’t yet been greenlit. I’m guessing it won’t be anytime soon, either. FWIW, the movie version is only the premise, so it’s very unlikely that it’ll include existing cast.
